  • Wait until the TEB process is completed

  • Incubation phase for accepted applications will be granted

Eligibility Criteria

  • The company must be either a start-up or a Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME)
  • Entities such as a research centre or a university body can also apply
  • The Applicant must be based in Germany, i.e. the location of the Applicantโ€™s registered office, of its decision-making centres and research centres, and the territory on which the development of products/services is carried out
  • Ownership conditions: The Applicant must have as majority shareholders companies incorporated and operating under the laws of Germany.

Exclusion Cases

  • ESA staff members or contractors and Project Team members or contractors; they are not eligible to be granted for incubation
  • Any member of Technical Evaluation Board (TEB)
  • Any individual who is subject to rules, restrictions or guidelines regarding competitions, gifts, prices, awards, contests etc.
  • Large enterprises are not eligible to participate
